Reading Goals**these are necessary to the survival of Maggie Paris

Work work WORK. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE WORK.
That's what I hear everyday.  From professors, classmates, industry giants, and now, myself.  It's all about the work.

As someone *trying* their best to get a job as a creative, I know it's the work I create that will get me where I want to go.

Research Paper: What Went Wrong (and Right)

I loved my topic for my research paper.  It was definitely something I am passionate about and I couldn't stop reading articles about it.  It is a topic that I almost study on my own, free time.  That being said, the parts of the paper where I needed to be passionate in I was, but the parts where I tried to make my claims and my arguments were sorely lacking.  I think my thesis was good, which surprises me because I was having the hardest time putting it into words. I also spent too much time "researching" (aka, looking up videos of different artists, going through things I hadn't seen before, geeking out) and so when it got down to the wire I felt like I had so much to say and it was just all over the place.  In the future, I think it would be wise of me to maybe lay things out and do an outline.  I should probably be trying to figure out how much information I have on a certain topic before I go crazy and just start writing.  Especially since my in...
